I have been posting a lot of these scans because in all honestly I haven’t taken any new pictures in quite awhile. However, I happen to have some free time coming up and am looking forward to taking more photos and thus putting more up here! A Leaf in Summer

This is a photo taken this summer while I was visiting my friends and family in New York, nothing extrodinary but the lighting really made the leaf glow. Cheers!

 

The Falls

These are a few more images I found at the antique shop. The cool thing here is 1. these were taken in Niagara Falls, not far from where I grew up, and 2. they were taken on 6/23/54, exactly 27 years and 1 day before I was born. The woman in the picture looks really happy and growing up so close to the falls it is easy to take for granted. In fact, I’ve stood nearly exactly where this picture was taken on more than one occasion in my life. For many, and I like to think this woman here as well, visiting the falls is an amazing and, often, life changing experience. Go see them, you’ll be glad you did.

 

That is vintage!

I thought I would include some old photos I purchased at a local antique store in my posts. This one was taken in 1962 and apperantly is at some sort of fair where monkeys do the twist! What a time to be alive!
